Agenda Summary
1. Work Report on Association Affairs
Vice Chairperson Henry Chan reported key achievements for the 2024-2025 term:
1. Successfully organized Canadian businesses to participate in the 30th Macao International Trade and Investment Fair (MIF), where the Association established a Canadian pavilion featuring 35 exhibitors (90% from Canada), including six business associations.
2. Signed a Memorandum of Understanding on economic, trade, and cultural collaboration with Xinflex Entrepreneurs Association.
3. Co-hosted the Economic Trade and Investment Forum on Henqing-Macao Cooperation with Xinflex Entrepreneurs Association in Markham, Canada, on May 1, 2025.
4. Held an inauguration ceremony for the new council members of the Canadian chapter, witnessed by Commercial Counsellor Liu Linlin of the Chinese Consulate in Toronto and Deputy Mayor Michael Chan of Markham. Mr. Patrick Hung was elected as Chairman of the Council.

2. Financial Report
Chief Financial Officer Stanley Chan presented the 2024 financial report, detailing the Association’s fiscal status and fund utilization.
3. Global Business Development Discussion
Board members shared strategies for international expansion:
• CEO Gary Chan highlighted the Association’s efforts in promoting China-Canada trade through forums and promoting opportunities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Future plans include facilitating market entry for Canadian enterprises into China and supporting Chinese companies in expanding overseas.
• Vice Chairperson Henry Chan proposed a supply chain initiative to leverage Canadian resources and introduce high-quality products to mainland China via the Henqin-Macao Deep Cooperation Zone.
• Vice Chairperson Li Xiaohong introduced their business layout in Australia, covering bulk trade and financial services, and expressed interest in cross-border collaboration with members.
• Vice Chairperson He Kaidong shared insights on the exhibition industry, encouraging members to engage in government-led expos and explore opportunities in Hengqin.

4. Closing Remarks
Chairperson Carmen Lei thanked members for their contributions and emphasized the Association’s commitment to leveraging its platform to create opportunities, organize international promotions, and facilitate educational exchanges and resource integration. She also expressed gratitude to the council for their steadfast support.
